The LTA has announced that the 2023 winner of the cinch Championships, Carlos Alcaraz of Spain, is set to return to the prestigious grass-courts of The Queen’s Club in 2025. The 21-year-old world No. 3 has committed to the tournament for the third consecutive year, having won the event on his debut in 2023 and fell to Jack Draper last year. In both years, he has gone on to win The Championships at Wimbledon. Further announcements of players confirmed for the men’s event, taking place 16-22 June 2025, will be made in due course.
The four-time Grand Slam champion said: “I can’t wait to get back on the grass at The Queen’s Club next summer. Lifting the title two years ago is what gave me the belief to go on and win Wimbledon for the first time, so it always means a lot to compete there. I love playing in front of the fans in London, the LTA puts on a great event, and I hope I can have another successful summer in the UK. It would be amazing to join players like (Andy) Murray, (Feliciano) Lopez, (Andy) Roddick and others in winning this title multiple times and I’m confident that I can achieve that.”
The tournament has been awarded ATP 500 Tournament of the Year five times in the last eight years, which is voted for by players to recognise the leading standards set across events on the ATP tour.
The announcement comes as tickets for the men’s ATP 500 event at The Queen’s Club go on sale for Advantage Fan+ and Compete members from 25-27 November.
Tickets will go on general sale on Thursday 29 November while tickets for the new women’s WTA 500 event at The Queen’s Club will go on sale early in the New Year.
