Lawn Tennis

Members of The Queen’s Club enjoy an unrivalled choice of courts on which to play, offering the three Grand Slam surfaces. The Club boasts 28 outdoor Lawn Tennis Courts, of which 12 are arguably the finest grass courts in the world (playing host to the WTA500 and ATP500 tournaments every year in the lead up to Wimbledon), with six Clay Courts courts (laid with Italian clay and maintained to the highest standard with guidance from the team that maintains the courts for the Rome Masters event), six Plexi Courts, four Artificial Grass Courts and an Indoor Practice Wall.

There are a further 10 Indoor Championship Acrylic Hard Courts in US Open Colours. During the months from October through to the end of March each year there are two additional winter domes – one housing 2 indoor clay courts and the other housing two Plexi indoor courts. This facility gives Members the opportunity to play on clay throughout the year.

The Queen’s Club has over 18 Club teams representing the Club in local, regional and national competitions. There is also a weekly programme offering a mix of social games and coaching opportunities along with tournaments and Club nights. Throughout the year there are seasonal competitions bringing everyone together for competition and social fun.
